GoGrid Reseller Stack

The GoGrid Reseller Stack is a white label solution that includes all of the necessary software for reselling GoGrid servers under your own brand.  Built on top of the BitNami WordPress Stack, it includes ready-to-run versions of WordPress, Apache, MySQL and PHP.  The GoGrid Reseller Stack also includes WHMCS (a complete billing and support system) as well as connections between WordPress, WHMCS, and the GoGrid API.

Getting Started

The initial installation steps are included in the BitNami instructions.  Read the BitNami documentation regarding configuration for WordPress, Apache, MySQL and PHP.

The GoGrid Reseller Stack includes a special WordPress Theme that may be a good starting point for new resellers.  It also includes a WordPress plugin to help keep your WordPress theme in sync with the WHMCS billing and support system templates.

WHMCS is the heart of your reseller platform.  It includes automated server ordering and provisioning, client management, billing and support, and hooks into the GoGrid API.  Your customers will view their servers through WHMCS and can access GoGrid functionality for restarting servers and retrieving administrative passwords.  The GoGrid brand is hidden from your clients and all servers can be managed under your existing GoGrid account.

Your Reseller Server

Begin my adding a new server under My GoGrid.  Select the [TODO: Name] image.  This image already contains all of the software that you need to become a server reseller.

Once the server is running, point your browser to http://{your server}.  You'll see additional setup instructions for the BitNami WordPress Stack and the Server Explorer Stack.
